About PHS
Who We Are
Pontiac High School is situated in Shawville, Quebec, Canada, approximately 65 km from Ottawa, the nation’s capital. It serves a rural community from a large geographical catchment area. There are approximately 380 students with 27 full and part time teaching staff, 6 full and part time teacher’s aides and special education technicians. Our programming includes special education, Secondary 1 through 5 academic and a local trade program.

Pontiac High School is a rural secondary school located in a charming and welcoming community. The school offers a variety of academic programs as well as trades and focuses on ensuring individual excellence for each student.
